    My cousin took my husband and I here when we were considering transplanting. Now that were residents, we are loyal repeat guests.

    Tableside salsa that you can get as hot as you'd like. Homemade tortilla- corn and flour. Seafood that's as good or better than at a non-ethnic seafood house. Friendly staff and prompt, efficient service. Reasonable prices and HUGE portions. Favorite Mexican joint in Tucson.  

    Excited to compare their Prince location.

    I want to like this place so bad but it's not happening. I've only been here during lunch time, and each time is worse than the last.  The 2 stars is for consistency, they are consistently disappointing.

    Things that seem to be a challenge:
    Friendly staff
    Quick service
    Hot or even lukewarm food

    I wish I could get what some other folks experience here, maybe I've just had bad timing.

    This is a popular place and once in a while we go for the ambience and decent food.  Not my favorite MExican food.  I'm a hard critic coming from a Mexican mother who makes great food.  The last time I was there I was disappointed at the customer service we received.  The waiter seemed in a hurry and not engaged in us.  Then they bring my wife's and my Molcajete out.
    My wife's was sizzling hot and mine I could pickup with my bare hands.  I did not say nothing at the moment because the food inside seemed to be warm.  After eating it for a while I realized that it was getting cold and was not near as close to the quality I've had in the past.
    I mentioned it to the waiter.  All he said was that he would mention

    Amazingly fresh salsa made at your table with fresh everything.  Had a delish chimichanga. Super service and all around great.  Great for families. They had a mariachi this last Sunday evening.

    Great ambiance, ok food, ok service. I have tried for many years to like Guadalajara Grill. But I must come on the wrong day every time. The food is never fantastic, just ok. The service is slow and I literally lose my appetite when silverware is dirty. The atmosphere is great, but I can't seem to get that wow feeling here.
